◆ When the welding head is used for the first time, the temperature should be adjusted to 250℃, then the welding nozzle should be cleaned, and a new layer of tin should be added for protection. When welding, the old tin on the welding nozzle should be cleaned first, then welded, then put back into the soldering iron frame, and repeat the above actions when welding again.

◆ The base material of welding head is made of copper material with good heat transfer, and its surface is electroplated with iron \ tin and other substances. Because welding head works at high temperature, its internal oxidation is rapid, so an additional steel pipe is added in the copper pipe to slow down the oxidation rate. In normal use, the oxide in the steel pipe should be cleaned in time. The specific method is to take down the welding head every day (or every few days) after the work is finished, and tap the oxide gently with the head up and bottom down. This can completely prevent the welding head from sintering on the heating core.

◆ The cleaning sponge should not contain too much water, and the excess water should be squeezed out. Only in this way can the welding head get a good cleaning effect. Using a non-wet cleaning sponge will damage the welding head and lead to no tin.

◆ Try to use low temperature welding. If the welding head temperature exceeds 470℃, its oxidation speed is twice that of 380℃.

◆ Never put the welding head on the cleaning sponge and put it back on the iron stand. Always keep the tin on the welding head to prevent oxidation. Turn off the power when not using it for a long time.

◆ When welding, try to avoid always putting tin in the same place on the welding head, so as to avoid local corrosion affecting the use of the whole welding head. When welding, please do not apply too much pressure, otherwise the welding head will be damaged and deformed.
